COaT-SCI & EMSCI

The Treatment Center for Spinal Cord Injuries at the Trauma Hospital Berlin is a so-called candidate member of the European Multicenter Study about Spinal Cord Injury (EMSCI). After signing the quality assurance agreement with EMSCI on 18 April 2017, the Trauma Hospital Berlin completed its preparations for participating in the study and will actively recruit patients in the future. This will permit a link between COaT-SCI and the extended outcome panel of the EMSCI study; efforts will be made to achieve an external validation of the register.
